The Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) Leadership for Democracy Fellows Program (LDF)

LDF program advances reform efforts in the Middle East and North Africa by providing emerging civic leaders and democracy activists, between the ages of 25 and 40, the opportunity to spend several months in the United States (for English speakers) or Lebanon (for Arabic speakers) to gain academic skills and practical experience as well as networking opportunities with like-minded peers and professionals.

MEPI STUDENT LEADERS PROGRAM

The Student Leaders program is an intensive six week exchange program in the U.S. for undergraduate students from the Middle East and North Africa. Students are divided among up to six U.S. academic institutions where they develop leadership skills and expand their understanding of civil society, as well as the democratic process and how both may be applied in their home communities.  This program is open to university students between the ages of 20 and 24.
