Opportunity for Tunisian Leaders: English Scholarships and Conversation Course

The U.S. Embassy in Tunisia is pleased to announce two English language-learning opportunities for Tunisian civil servants, elected officials, civil society leaders, and journalists.  These opportunities are administered by AMIDEAST, and participants are selected through an application process – please see the below links for details.

English for Governance Conversation Course:  This free English conversation course for Tunisian civil servants, elected officials, journalists, and civil society leaders will help participants improve their English language and persuasive skills through discussions of the American system of government, society, and economy.  The 18-week course will be available to 30 dedicated participants and will take place on Tuesday evenings or Saturday mornings at AMIDEAST’s Tunis office.

English for Influencers Scholarships:  Are you a Tunisian government official, civil society leader, or journalist committed to learning English?  Apply to be one of 24 civil servants, elected officials, civil society leaders, and journalists to be granted a unique scholarship to pursue beginning or intermediate English courses at AMIDEAST in Tunis, Sousse, or Monastir.
