Ministry of Finance Trains Officials on Diagnosing And Assessing of Tax Administration System

In its efforts to put in place a transparent, fair and inclusive tax administration system, the Ministry of Finance, with support from the USAID-funded Fiscal Reform For A Strong Tunisia (FIRST) project, led a training on March 5th and 6th, 2018 on the implementation of a Tax Administration Diagnostic Assessment Tool (TADAT), which is a global tool used to assess the relative strengths and weaknesses of the tax administration system.  The two-day training, which was attended by 55 Ministry of Finance officials, is designed to develop their technical capacities to provide an objective assessment of the tax administration system by referring to nine performance outcome areas which cover most tax administration functions, processes and institutions.
