The majority of these MOOCs are self-paced, meaning participants will study independently, without facilitation from an instructor. The courses are offered by the Online Professional English Network (OPEN), a U.S. Department of State initiative, and is administered by FHI 360, a U.S.-based nonprofit human development organization.

Enrollment is currently open for all six courses. Participants may enroll in the courses until September 18, 2023. After enrolling in the self-paced courses, participants may log in at any time – day or night – to access the course they are taking. English language teachers enrolling in the facilitated Creating and Implementing Online Courses MOOC will receive information on the logistics for that course upon registration.

The courses conclude on September 25, 2023. If you register for a MOOC listed in this announcement, all the modules of coursework must be completed by September 25, 2023. Participants who complete the required activities with a score of 70% or higher will receive a digital badge and certificate.
