On March 17, the Embassy welcomed a group of students and teachers from Da Vinci Elementary school in La Marsa.  Dressed specially to celebrate the National Day of Traditional Clothing for a second day, they met with Economic Officer Cairo Jennings, English Language Teaching (ELT) Coordinator Saida Jedidi Sfaxi, and English Language Fellow (ELF) Natalie Monkemeier. Cairo talked to the students about the history of his home State of Texas. He shared some of the traditional clothes that Texans wear both daily and on special occasions. Some students presented a song. The ELT Coordinator and the ELF conducted a storytelling session with the students, followed by a craft session. Students from Da Vinci School, thank you for visiting!
