Atlas Corps: MENA Entrepreneurship Initiative

The Atlas Corps Fellowship: MENA Entrepreneurship Initiative,a special initiative within the Atlas Corps Fellowship, is supported by the U.S. Government and is specifically looking to recruit Tunisian emerging leaders in technology for a 12-month professional Fellowship in the United States. Engineers, coders, and other professionals who are interested in using technology to support the social sector are encouraged to apply.

Fellows will increase their technology and leadership acumen while serving in corporations, private companies, b-corps, and organizations that promote entrepreneurship through hands-on experience, while developing person-to-person connections to learn effective business practices. Past Fellows have served at TechChange, Affinis Labs, Microsoft, Internet2, and more. This Fellowship includes health insurance, enrollment in Atlas Corps Global Leadership Lab, travel costs, and a living stipend.

Qualifications:

  • Eligible participants will have 2-10 years of experience. We especially encourage candidates with the following backgrounds to apply: full-stack engineers, software engineers, UX/UI designers, front-end developers, and other tech professionals with knowledge of HTML#, CSS#,C++,C#, Python, Java, and/or Javascript.
  • a passion for social change
  • 35 years of age or younger
  • a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
  • strong English proficiency
  • a commitment to return home to their country following the Fellowship
