“It is through programs like this partnership that Tunisia can help its talented youth become more competitive internationally, attract international firms, and build a brighter future for all Tunisians.”
Ambassador Jake Walles
Ambassador Walles gave remarks at the inauguration of the Smart Center at Tunis Business School (TBS). The Smart Center, a partnership between AmCham Tunisia, PNB-NAPEO, and TBS aims to improve opportunities for business development, accelerate sustainable job creation, and expand economic opportunities for young professionals. Through the program, young entrepreneurs and job seekers will have the opportunity to independently establish successful businesses or build their careers thanks to specialized capacity-building courses, workshops, career counseling and networking.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Chiheb Bouden also gave remarks at the event, as did the Dean of Tunis Business School, the President of AmCham Tunisia, and representatives from Boeing, Microsoft, HexaByte, Vistaprint, United Gulf Financial Services, and Tounes Taamal.
