On December 30, U.S. Ambassador to Tunisia Donald Blome met with Tunisian Minister of Communication Technologies Mohamed Fadhel Kraiem to discuss Tunisia’s ITC strategy and ongoing collaboration in the sector.
Since 2011, the United States has provided nearly $2 billion in foreign assistance to strengthen Tunisia’s economy and security and support its young democracy. That assistance continues with new initiatives, including the project financing tools available under Prosper Africa. We hope these tools will continue to benefit local startups as well as U.S. technology firms that can take advantage of Tunisia’s immense human IT capital.
